We often say that making sustainable wines within an integral nature reserve protected by the WWF Italy "It 'came naturally to us', and we often find that there are still many uncertainties on the subject of organic wine.
We have tried to explain this in a simple way, extrapolating the five fundamental points of our production philosophy and of any self-respecting organic production:
1. Sustainable cultivation: exclusive use of grapes grown without pesticides or chemical fertilisers, promoting sustainable agricultural practices;
2. Respect for the ecosystem: The cultivation techniques adopted respect the natural cycles of the vine, enhancing local biodiversity;
3. Respectful vinification process: vinification excludes the use of chemical additives, maintaining the purity and authenticity of the wine and its territorial characteristics;
4. Rigorous certification: To be certified organic, wine must meet stringent production standards, in the vineyard and in the cellar;
5. Health and well-being: organic wines are free of residues and chemicals, contain a reduced amount of sulphites by law, offering a more 'digestible' option to those wine lovers sensitive to this antioxidant substance, which, for this very reason, is always listed among the allergens on the label.
