On Saturday 29 June we opened, together with theNational Association The Women of Wine and to AIS Sicily the 10th edition of Sicily in Bubbles.
A wonderful comparison between 'women in bubbles' from Apulia and Sicily, and between their sparkling wines produced by the Charmat and classic methods, to tell the story of the south in a decidedly different way. On Monday 1 July, during the final evening of the event, the banquets opened as usual, to taste all our wines, from the sparkling white Babbìo, to the unprecedented classic method sparkling wine from Pinot Noir, Brut nature, and the ever-present Palmarès Charmat method, Grillo Brut and Nero d'Avola rosé Extra Dry.
During the event, prizes were also awarded in the 1st edition of the competition named after Alberto Gino Grillo, where our Babbìo received recognition as best 'Pleasant sparkling wineaccording to the jury of AIS tasters.
