There is a deep connection between wine, art and territory, and from this interweaving the new season is born B.E.V.I. – The Art of Winemaking, the documentary series Sky Arte which tells the stories of Italian wine excellence through the eyes of its protagonists.
Dal 24 September 2024, every Tuesday at 20:40, Sky Arte brings a journey through the iconic locations of national viticulture to television – from visionary architecture to the most evocative wineries, where tradition meets design and sustainability.
Produced by ArtLouder in collaboration with Vinitaly and The City, the fourth season of B.E.V.I. (Bacche, Enologi e Vinattieri d’Italia) explores ten unique Italian territories, where wine becomes a form of art and a cultural manifesto.
The Wine Oasis: the episode dedicated to Tenuta Gorghi Tondi
Among the protagonists of this new season, Gorghi Tondi Estate represents the Western Sicily with the episode “The Wine Oasis”, airing Tuesday 15 October.
Set within the Lake Preola and Gorghi Tondi Integral Nature Reserve, WWF Oasis Mazara del Vallo, the episode recounts the journey of the Clara and Annamaria Sala sisters, custodians of a four-generation winemaking tradition.
The cellar, built inside a Old farmhouse, it is itself a symbol of balance between nature, architecture and sustainability. Here, oenological experience merges with contemporary aesthetics and a forward-looking production sensibility, without forgetting its roots.
Every scene of the documentary is an invitation to discover how, between the vineyards overlooking the Mediterranean and the breath of the Oasis, are born the organic wines At Gorghi Tondi: authentic interpreters of an extraordinary territory.
