With the vintage 2024Rajah writes a new chapter in his history: part of the ageing process takes place in terracotta amphorae. A gesture that combines our Mediterranean identity with a choice of elegance and sustainability.
Why amphora wine?
The amphora is not just an ancient container. It is a true ally of the raw material. Handcrafted in breathable terracotta, like those of TAVAallows the wine to micro-oxygenate slowlyas is the case with wood, but without giving in to external flavours. The result is a pure, expressive wine with an authentic profile.
In Rajah 2024, the 50% of wine matures in 750-litre amphoraethe remainder in steel. A balance designed to give Zibibbo a more refined touch, without distorting its aromaticity.

From vineyard to amphora: a sustainable choice
Rajah 2024 was born from a single vineyard over 20 years oldorganically grown and cultivated with conservative pruning.
This technique, based on respecting the natural morphology of the plant, reduces wounds and improves its longevity, promoting a optimal vegetative-productive balance.
It is the fruit of a Careful, essential and conscious viticulturewhere every choice - from the amphora to the vineyard - is designed to best express the identity of the terroir of Gorghi Tondi.
