The luxury of format Magnum (1.5 L) cased to enhance our Spumante Traditional Method Rosé Brut Nature. A naturally produced Pinot Noir that evolves slowly, offering complexity and elegance.
A Magnum created to reign over the festive table. Its tenacity and elegance make it perfect for accompanying the entire meal: from refined starters to raw seafood, to important first courses based on shellfish or main courses based on white meat. Serve strictly chilled at 6-8 °C.
The Millesimato Rosé Brut nature was born from a challenge. One of those ideas that, at first, seem almost counterintuitive.
A few years ago Michele Sala, founder of Gorghi Tondi Estate, proposed to the estate's long-time winemaker Tonino Guzzo to try and vinify Pinot Noir in purity and make a Classic Method sparkling wine from it. A variety among the most complex and delicate in global viticulture, accustomed to latitudes and climates very different from those of western Sicily.
It was not an obvious choice, and precisely for this reason it became a fascinating production challenge: to understand if the Mazara countryside, overlooking the Mediterranean, could offer a new interpretation of such a noble and demanding grape variety.
This vision led to the first Metodo Classico sparkling wine produced on the estate. A project that continues the journey of research and experimentation undertaken by Gorghi Tondi over the years and which, once again, tells the surprising versatility of “viticulture of the sea”.
The organic Pinot Noir grapes come from one of the estate's younger vineyards, not far from the sea. After vinification of the base wine and the second fermentation, the vintage wine is aged on its own lees for at least 36 months, developing depth, nuance, and complexity.
Il risultato è un Brut nature millesimato with Mediterranean character: a very pale rosé, elegant and vertical, where the precision of the Classic Method meets the aromatic brightness and natural sapidity of this extreme corner of Sicily.
In the world of Metodo Classico sparkling wines, the Magnum format guarantees a slower, more consistent, and qualitatively perfect bottle ageing. Choosing this cased reference means ensuring not only an artisanal organic Pinot Noir, but also an extraordinary collector's item and the true “king” of convivial toasts.
