A novelty for Tenuta Gorghi Tondi, as they venture into crafting a sparkling wine using the most emblematic black grape variety of the Old Continent, Pinot Noir, to create a traditional method sparkling wine with a strong Mediterranean inspiration. Once again, the “viticulture of the sea,” practiced for years in the family estate, showcases the versatility of this remote corner of Sicily, capable of enhancing the elegance and versatility of the noblest and one of the oldest grape varieties in the world.

Tasting notes: it has a bright antique gold color. On the nose, it’s delicate and fragrant, with hints of small red fruits, hibiscus flowers, and a subtle enveloping note of pastry. On the palate, it is fresh, rich, mineral, with a very fine and elegant effervescence, and a slightly savory finish
Pairings: A perfect single vintage for any meal, thanks to its robust body and inviting freshness, ideal with a slice of mortadella crostini and shrimp crudité. Serve at 6-8 °C (43-46.5 °F)
